The black leather dress

Do you remember when I did a post on black leather ? Some people rightly noticed that I didn't mention anything about black leather dresses, but it's not because I don't like them. If I love the black leather trend then I have to say that I ADORE the black leather dress trend. I love dresses, I love leather and I love black, combining the three can only be a winner to me.

There are many options this season if you're looking for a black leather dress. The only problem is that they are all super expensive. There is also the option of faux leather, but while I can go along with the faux leather leggings, faux leather on a dress just seems a bit SM to me (not that I have anything against SM but it's not the style I want to promote in the blog). I'm still waiting for Zara to come up with a (more) affordable version but in the meantime I'll keep lusting over these.

  1. Was looking for the perfect one for ages, but now it's almost Summer (in Australia) I think I'll have to just be jealous of all you girls in the Northern Hemisphere that get to rock a leather dress! I'd probably keep it simple with boots + hat :)

  2. I have the leather dress from h&m trend. I guess it is 2 years since I bought it. columbine smilla also has the dress, perhaps you seen it there.
    Well I prefer to wear the dress with a white crispy shirt in.

  3. I love leather dresses but my lifestyle doesn't really afford the opportunity to wear one :( Leather pants are my limit. If I lived or visited London or similar more often I would definitely add one to my wardrobe. I love the idea of a leather dress, fitted and elegant with some Valentino Rockstud heels. All that studded strapping would be the perfect partner in my eyes :)

    1. I don't think anything could look bad with some Valentino Rockstud heels... Those are some yummy shoes ! Such a pity that you cannot add a leather dress in your wardrobe :(
