These outfit pictures made me realise three things: I should ALWAYS ask my husband to take the pictures and never do them on my own, I don't like my gold boots (oops) and these jeans don't fit me. I'm really sorry about the bad quality pictures (which is why there are only two, the others were even worse) but you get to see the outfit and that's the purpose. I will give the gold boots another try for a night out (during the day it's definitely a NO), but I've decided that I hate DYI projects. As for the jeans, I will keep wearing them as leggings with a sweater and a blazer, but they're not flattering around my mid-body area if you see what I mean. I love how outfit pictures help me figuring out what really fits me and what doesn't.
Not everything is bad about this outfit post though, I get to tell you how much I love my Burberry trench coat. Such a classic piece and probably the item from my wardrobe which I wear the most. There are some advantages about living in Belgium, having a trench coat appropriate weather all year round is one of them. It was a serious investment (and risky as I bought it while 6-months-pregnant !) but it was most definitely worth it.

DeleteMarta, I was checking out a similar trench at Zara and was also planning to zip across the road to Burberry to check theirs out but I ran out of time. Drats. Anyway, you're wearing my holy grail. I think a good trench coat is vital for those of us who live in Northern (ish) Europe.

DeleteC'est clair qu'il faut faire des choix. Moi, je me baladerais à poil, du moment que j'ai de super chaussures (et j'ai tjs été comme ça). Du coup, le Burberry va encore attendre de looooogues années avant de rejoindre ma penderie ;) Mais c'est si beau!

ReplyDeleteI'm swooning over your Burberry trench! What a lovely classic piece. I agree with you on the realization that comes through doing outfit posts. I've thought similar things about either the fit or how flattering items are and other outfit are just 'what the hell was I thinking'. It definitely provides some learning along the way. Although I still like your DIY booties :)
