Fall/Winter 2012 Trends - Cobalt blue

Runway collections weren't really dominated by cobalt blue except for maybe a few exceptions (yes, Stella I'm talking about you). There were some references to it here and there but in stores things are a bit different, cobalt blue is literally everywhere. And from what I'm seeing, us fashion lovers are making cobalt blue even more popular (go ahead admit, I'm sure you have it in your wardrobe already, I know I do).

Cobalt blue has high chances of becoming THE color of the season, and it will be very well deserved. It's flashy enough to brighten up any boring outfit and it looks good with practically any other fall colors. I'm loving how cobalt blue looks perfect with white, grey, black, tweed and on top of all in total look, démonstration.

 Now for my favorites, I'll love to put my hands in pointy-toe cobalt pumps ♥♥, any of the following will do.

If you haven't fallen for cobalt blue by now I'm betting that you're not going to resist very longer.

  3. mon cheri m'a offert il y a 6 mois un balenciaga bleu cobalt j'adore mais pas facile, ne va pas avec tout, je n'achèterais pas un manteau qui pour moi est la pièce qu'on doit pouvoir embraquer une semaine et aller avec tout par contre un haut, une robe, un pull, je dis oui! des bises

  4. Boooger. I just dyed my cobalt blue dress yesterday to aubergine purple. 1 day too late for this post!! And I can't say it was a roaring success either as is my luck!

    Really like the pieces you've picked - very simple but effective as a statement piece when in cobalt blue. Nice picks!

  5. I'm loving your picks, Marta! I haven't really kept up with the Fashion Week so I'm so pleased you've talked about the color scheme here. I'm thrilled that the current color trend is oxblood and cobalt blue, both colors that are flattering against my skin tone. I've been thinking of adding more colors to my monochrome wardrobe but have shied away from bright tones. But these two....I do adore.

  6. I think i only have one item in cobolt blue and it is the neopren t-shirt from Zara which i got on sale last year.

    Actually I not into the colour blue, i just dont think the colour suit me well. Saying this I then admit I just brought a blue KENZO sweatshirt. ha ha ha.
