| Isabel Marant SS13 available at Moda Operandi |
Yes, fashionistas are crazy. Not only fashion weeks brainwash us to think about spring and summer when fall is barely there, now we also have the opportunity to pre-order what we saw on the runways. I discovered Moda Operandi a few months ago and was quite surprised to hear that just a few weeks after a show the pieces were already on sale (okay, it's pre-order but still). With the obsession of fashion weeks I'm sensing that this will be more and more frequent. In a world where when we want something we want it now, I will not be surprised that one of these days collections will be available in store a day after the show. And we will end up buying clothes two seasons in advance just to make sure we are the first one to own next season's "it" piece...
Isabel Marant's collection is on pre-order (here and here) since earlier today and will stay available until October 18th. All pieces from the runway show are available plus a wide selection of accessories, shoes and jewelry. I don't have much to add on top of my September review, except maybe something which is really bothering me: the prices of the shoes, 828 € for a pair of gladiator sandals (even embellished sandals !) is just too much, Isabel !
On a different note, am I the only seeing the resemblance between these two ?
It's probably time for me to take the plunge and finally buy a proper pair of biker boots...
Have a great weekend !!!
xx Marta

agreed :) xx
DeleteI have ordered the studded brown high sandals. I have to agree though, the pricing of Isabel Marant is getting too high for what it is. It isn't in the same realm as Givenchy, Celine, Balenciaga... Well you get my drift.
ReplyDeletexx Mandi
beautiful Mandi :) but I'm glad to hear that you share my thoughts on the price. having said that, it doesn't seem to have any impact on the IM craze ! xx
