The biker boots dilemna

You know this piece that you like but never take the plunge because you always think that in a few months you would hate yourself for buying it ? That's exactly my story with biker boots. It is not that I don't like them but for the past three years I've been telling myself not to buy a pair thinking that I wouldn't like them a few months later. I have had some similar boots but none of them were literally biker boots. I'm sorry if I'm not making a lot of sense here, but the bottom line is the following: I still want a pair of biker boots, but does it really make sense to get them now ? I mean after seeing them in all shapes and formats and on everyone for the past few years ?

I know I'm not the only one asking that question because a friend of mine asked me the exact same thing a few days ago. Although she was more convinced than me, she was still in doubt.

Biker boots are indeniably cool and versatile, wear them with anything, anytime, anywhere and you can do no wrong. For just this reason we should all get a pair, right ? On the other hand, most of you are probably working women (like moi) probably not working in a fashion oriented environment where the biker boots are not part of the dress code. When in theory biker boots are an excellent idea, we are probably better off with a pair of Dicker boots that we can really wear anytime and anywhere.
