I saw the Shena jacket for the first time just a few hours after buying IM's Monty jacket. Needless to say that I had to wait a few weeks before taking the plunge and adding it to my jackets' collections. The truth is that I had only foreseen one boucle/tweed jacket on my fall shopping list so buying two in the same week didn't seem very reasonable.
The wait was worth it, this jacket is really really really pretty. It is exactly what I expected, soft, warm and very Iro-cool.
If yoy're paying attention you've noticed that I'm not wearing a T by Alexander Wang basic tee which I very often do. I was disappointed by the quality of my last two TbAW tees, they're not by far comparable in quality to my first ones which is annoying. I'm trying out a tee from Helmut Lang's basic line, Helmut, I'll let you know how it goes in the long run but for the moment I think these could be a good replacement.

The texture of the jacket is absolutely stunning and that fit is perfect! What a great addition. I'm really loving your burgundy jeans. It's my favourite colour for clothing at the moment so I'm looking to add a pair of jeans or cords myself.

DeleteI felt the same about the T by A Wang tees and singlets. The armholes in my singlets drooped so much and they started to pill quite easily. Kind of ridiculous - so let me know how you get on with the Helmut Lang ones.

The big complaint that I have regarding tbAW tees is the inconsistent quality. The very first one that I got is perfect, I never paid too much attention on how to wash it and it s like new. The others are very different, ranging from average to low quality. Thanks for sharing ! xx

ReplyDeleteTu es Su-perbe,quelle ligne ! J'aime vraiment énormément cette veste et comme tu l'as associée avec ce slim d'une couleur chaude, le bordeau c'est LA couleur de la saison.
Dommage pour la qualité de tes Alexander Wang. ça me fait souci, car j'en ai quelques uns aussi.. pour l'instant, je ne les ai pas beaucoup portés ils sont donc en bon état, je verrai sur le long terme avec les lavages. J'espère que tu seras contente avec les Helmut !

ReplyDeleteThose MK shoes are really nice. I thought about getting the black version from my-wardrobe... but thought for too long and when I decided to buy my size was gone. They look very comfortable.
